August Meeting Recap 2014

We thank the Village of Royal Palm Beachfor hosting the League meetings at their cultural center.

Board Meeting The Board approved 211 Palm Beach/Treasure Coast, Inc. and Jones Edmunds & Associates, Inc. assocaite member applications.

The Board re-appointed Commissioner Allie Biggs of Pahokee and Stephen Waldman as the League's appointees on the School District's Advisory Boundary Committee.

The Board also voted "no objection" to the Commission on Ethics Ordinances, the Human Trafficking Ordinance the Home Caregiver Ordinance and the Curbstoning Ordinance.

The Board heard reports from the FLC Legislative Committee, League Fire Service Committee and Vehicle for Hire Committee


General Membership 

Our featured speaker was Paul Jones, Chief Information Officer of the PBC Clerk & Controller who spoke on "Cyber Security: What You Need to Know to Protect Your City".

The proposed changes to the Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws were approved.
